Month 3

So here it is! Ultrasound number 3. Done on October 25, 2011. Somehow they decided now that I'm over 35 years old, I need to have tests galore!! This one was to measure the thickness of the baby's neck. It appears everything is great. I had to gently decline the kind offer for an amniosynthesis three times. This was of course after I was told two times that the person that would be doing this test was very qualified to do it and has been doing it for a long time.So it seems the baby is now due on April 27th. So I'm approximately 14 weeks along...this is turning out to be a speedy pregnancy!

MONTH 2

Ok, so here we are month 2. They told me last month I was 5 weeks along, and 4 weeks later, I'm suddenly 10 weeks and 2 days. She said the baby is bigger than she thought. So now the due date is April 28th. I was all excited thinking this baby was going to have the same birthday as his/her big cousin, but no, looks like he/she will be born a week earlier. It'll be an early birthday present Gabby!
So here it is, we can actually see a head and a body and 2 little stumps for arms. Looks like it's for real folks!

3rd Madelon child!

Ok, so I haven't posted in a long time...again, but here it is, our life has been busy. We had a summer full of friends and fun.

But I'm writing to announce that we're having a third!! According to the doctor I'm 5 weeks pregnant, but their calculations make no sense. But here's a little picture to prove it. We even saw the heart beating.

This is the first out loud announcement I'm making, so please comment so I know you're checking this crazy and inconsistent blog.

Holidays

As we do every year, we spent the holidays with family in cold Massachusetts. Below are just a few of the many pictures we took during our Christmas vacation. Enjoy!

An afternoon in the city!
The boys with uncle Terrence. Otherwise known as "TMunny"...don't ask.
The boys with his Vedrine cousins. Isaiah, Kendal, Ricardo, Elijah, Adrien
Some play in the snow. The background is area around my parents condo building. There's a brook behind them, Beaver Brook. I love Dracut!

My men with Grandma Sonia.
Every year I have to find a picture that shows how alike they look. This is the one!

Ricky's Bday and more

Ricky had his Birthday party this week. My baby turned 7 on Tuesday the 7th. We had his party at our place for the first time ever!! And I think we had the best weather ever...go figure.

This first picture is from the House of Blues Gospel Brunch on Sunday morning. I went with the youth group, then rushed home to meet my family so we could head to a friend's birthday party. Busy weekend:

The kids coming down the stairs, for more cookies???
Ricky wearing his present from Oliver: a Lego Flashlight for his head, pretty cool.
The boys watching tv
Cake time:

Last but not least, I took this picture on Sunday. This personifies my 7 year old! Happy Birthday baby.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Below are a few more pictures of my sick boys. This was our Friday Night! The boys (including Daddy) had a stomach bug. So they were all tired, and sicky...

We had the first day of our Advent Market this Sunday at church and I caught some good friends chatting on the patio!
Christmas is coming and we put our tree up on Wednesday night!
And our wall is all decorated as well!

sick children and new apartment

Ok I'm putting two in one, only because I don't have enough pics for daily. It's not working so well, it's so easy to forget. What it has done is given me a reason to take more pictures of random things, that's good right? And to document my daily life a little better. So here are some pictures.

So if you're reading this, it's probably because you know me personally and you know I've moved. Below are a few pictures of our new apartment. I wouldn't normally take pics of the whole apartment, but some friends wanted to see what it looked like and Ricky's school had some project:

Kitchen. Sorry for the mess. Who left the milk on the counter??

Living room and Dining room as seen from the front door. Check out all the new stuff!!
Downstairs powder room...
Upstairs bathroom, it's huge!! It's got a shower and a tub
And double sinks, we still need some more storage in the bathroom but we're loving it.
This is the 3rd bedroom/guest room/office/library. Not complete yet, but new desk!
our front door.
our bedroon. it's big!! So exciting.
The boys room...their new bunkbed.

Now below are pictures of this morning 12/3/10. The boys are sick, Adrien was throwing up the night before last and is still not feeling up to par to go to school...Ricky was throwing up last night and they both fell asleep on the couch this morning. They slept until 10 am...just now.
